chokora (English): a powerful four member percussion group performing new and creative literature for percussion 

Percussionist Brad McRae founded Chokora in 2005. His vision was to put together a dynamic group of talented percussionists with various strengths and diverse backgrounds to entertain and play great literature written for percussion.

Chokora explores endless possibilities with rhythm and sound, and experiments with various music from ethnic to novelty.

Chokora has grown into both an awesome entertaining group as well as a valuable educational resource for schools and educators.
